A la cita asistieron unas 300 mujeres, representando diferentes colectivos del sector: rederas, marisqueras, pescadoras y armadoras.<\/p>\n<p>El Grupo de Acci\u00f3n Costera Oriental de Cantabria (GAC Oriental) aport\u00f3 los fondos para el viaje de estas profesionales de una actividad ancestral en la pesca que algunas mujeres mantienen, resistiendo el paso del tiempo.<\/p>\n<p>La finalidad de facilitar la asistencia de estas mujeres es para visibilizar su importancia y mejorar la situaci\u00f3n y perspectivas futuras, adem\u00e1s de defender sus derechos y necesidades en el sector pesquero, as\u00ed como adquirir la cualificaci\u00f3n necesaria para emprender futuras acciones de diversificaci\u00f3n.
